Speed Sporting
My vision is that every child and adult gets the opportunity through schools, road shows and other major public events to try as many and as varied ways to exercise and play sport and that through this they find an activity that they “love and make their own”
Speed Sporting was created by myself, at Sutton Bonington, in November 2008, following the Beijing Olympics. Speed Sporting was extremely well received and got media coverge from the BBC, Central Television and Radio Five.
“ Being physically active is an essential element of staying healthy. This scheme will provide great new opportunities for children and adults to become involved in sport and to become more active. I fully support the aims of the Speed Sporting programme.”
